About Me:
Hello! I am a Florida native and a recent graduate of the Learning Design and Technology program at Purdue University. I fell into instructional design by accident. At the start of 2020, a local cooperative grocery store I was working at launched a second store. We had two months to train an almost entirely new customer service department. I soon learned that our training lacked structure and documentation. I took a course on technical writing to formalize our processes, but that lead me to find instructional design. I was enrolled in Purdue University’s graduate program by that summer.
I have a passion for adult learning. I love being able to bring out a learner’s potential through a variety of learning solutions. My interests in the field revolve around the possibilities technology allows for learning. This can take the form of eLearning, microlearning, and anything that helps the transfer of knowledge into behavior.
In my free time, I bicycle, skimboard, play video games, and read classical literature.
